Throughput capacity of grain combine harvesters at "CLAAS" plant in Krasnodar has increased by 35%
Following 2019 results, Krasnodar plant "CLAAS" increased the throughput capacity of grain combine harvesters TUCANO by 35%. According to the outcomes of early sales program, the growth in the number of released machines is expected at the level of, at least, 15% in 2020. That corresponds to the production volume of an average of three-four combines per day as reported in the company’s press-service.
It is noted that presently each second machine manufactured at "CLAAS" plant in Krasnodar is operating in southern regions. The significant number of machines is supplied to the Central Black Earth economic regions as well as to Altay and Primorsky Territory.
Besides, one in ten combines TUCANO was marketed to Kazakhstan; certain export transactions were concluded with purchasers from Belarus and China. More than 100 names of components were shipped to the pilot plant in Harsevinkel (Germany) and subsidiary of the Group company in Uzbekistan.
According to the Director General of "CLAAS" plant in Krasnodar Ralf Bendish, the lower crop yield in Russia as compared to the European countries with identical natural climatic conditions creates additional prerequisites for acquisitio0n of more efficient and powerful combine harvesters by Russian agrarian companies.
