Magnit, a retail network with the head office in Krasnodar, entered Forbes's annual Global 2000 ranking. The ranking is based on indicators of sales, revenues, assets, and market value, which was taken into consideration at the close of trading on April 30.
The Forbes Global 2000 list includes the largest companies from 64 countries of the world. This year, it reflects indicators taking into consideration the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The ICBC China Bank, the China Construction Bank, and the JPMorgan Chase Bank became its leaders. 23 companies represent Russia - this is one more than last year. According to the retailer’s press service, Magnit enters the ranking, not for the first year.
In May, Florian Jansen, the creator of Lamoda, will hold the position of the Executive Director of the Company and one of the three Deputy General Directors of the Retailer to accelerate the digital transformation of Magnit’s business. Together with him, a team of former top managers of the company will come to the Retail Network.
