Krasnodar became a top city among the cities of the South of Russia in terms of competitiveness rating

According to the competitiveness rating compiled by the Federal Department for economic development, investment and foreign relations, the capital of Kuban became the leader in 17 out of 34 indices.

In particular, Krasnodar holds leadership in the volume of shipped in-house production commodities, executed works and services in large and medium-sized enterprises (23.4 billion rubles). The city ranks first in terms of the turnover of retail trade of large and medium-sized organizations (48.5 billion rubles), in terms of retail trade as per capita (48.2 thousand rubles), in terms of the volume of sold products by large and medium-sized public catering organizations (2.1 billion rubles), in terms of billable services as per capita (36.6 thousand rubles) and in terms of the level of average monthly wage across large and medium-sized enterprises (45 457 rubles). 

In terms of all indices Krasnodar significantly outstrips Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd, Maikop and Astrakhan.
