Krasnaya Polyana resort and French hotel operator ACCOR signed an agreement to open three new hotels at the resort

Three new hotels - Mövenpick, Novotel, ibis Styles – will be presented at Krasnaya Polyana resort by the end of December 2019. The respective agreement was executed by Andrey Krukovsky, General Director of the private company limited by shares «Krasnaya Polyana», and Aleksis Delaroff, General Director of Accor New East Europe.  

According to the paper, all three hotels will be affiliated to ACCOR booking system until the end of the year to ensure that guests of the resort could book the accommodation in the upcoming winter season. 

The new concept of Krasnaya Polyana resort provides for a large-scale enhancement of the quality in all respects and with the execution of the contract the resort would attain the exclusive targets in the mountain cluster Sochi while 90% of the resort hotels would be globally renowned сhain hotels famous for their consistently high quality standards. The appearance of brands from different pricing segments would be an additional competitive advantage of the resort.    

In particular, a world famous hotel brand Mövenpick will be introduced for the first time. It will become the first hotel in the mountains in the brand history. 52 rooms executed in line with the brand design standards will be provided to guests.

According to the data as of early 2019, among international brands the French hotel operator Accor Hotels became the leader in terms of the number of hotels in RF. 47 hotels accommodating 8.3 rooms are under the chain supervision. Radisson Hotel Group (36 hotels) ranks second followed by Marriott International (27 hotels).
